EIA: US crude inventories grew by 2.4M barrels
Crude oil inventories in the United States grew by 2.4 million barrels, in comparison to the previous week to reach 500.8 million barrels in the week ending March 12, the US Energy Information Administration revealed on Wednesday.
US crude oil imports averaged 5.3 million barrels per day last week, which was 332,000 barrels per day less than in the week before. Meanwhile, gasoline production dropped to 8.9 million barrels per day the same week.
